Why an AI photo booth costs more than a ₹10,000 booth
Request a quote when comparing basic photo booth rentals in Delhi. A basic rental is a camera, a ring light, a printer and a props box: guests get the photo they walked in with.
An AI booth does a different job. Each guest is turned into a styled portrait (a royal look, a Bollywood poster, a K-Pop shoot, or a theme built around your brand) and the print comes out on the spot, lit and composed like a studio photo. For a wedding or a brand event, that is the difference between a prop corner people walk past and a station people queue for, show off at the table and post the same night. With our packages, you are paying for a studio look, custom frames and the prints confirmed in your event quote, not for a camera on a stand.

What changes a photo booth rental quote
The event quote confirms the booth and print inclusions. A few things decide the final number on your quote, and it helps to have answers ready when you enquire.
City and venue
Inside Delhi NCR we quote the package as it stands. For Mumbai, Jaipur, Pune, Bangalore or anywhere else, we add travel and transport for the booth and crew, which depends on distance and how many days the booth stays. Give us the full venue address, the loading access (lift, stairs, ramp) and the parking situation. A banquet hall with a service lift is a very different setup from a rooftop reached by stairs.
Number of event days
Each event day is priced as a day. A three-function wedding (mehendi, sangeet, reception) is three event days, even if the venue stays the same. Tell us every date in one enquiry so we can plan the booth and team around the whole schedule instead of quoting each function separately.
Operating hours and the setup window
Receptions that go past midnight, early-morning corporate check-ins and exhibitions that open before guests arrive all need a clear setup window. Share the guest-facing start and end time and the earliest time we can get in. Overtime is agreed in the quote, not negotiated on the night.
Custom effects and branding
Every rental includes a personalised print frame. If you want more, such as AI looks designed around your wedding theme, a brand world for a product launch, or branded start screens on the touchscreen, that is design work. Send the artwork and the approval contact early; custom effects need time to build and test before the event.
Staffing and photo delivery
The booth is self-service, and most guests figure it out in seconds. At large weddings and corporate events it still helps to have someone managing the queue and helping older guests. Staffing is written into your quote. Phone delivery of digital copies (WhatsApp or QR) works best with stable internet at the venue, so tell us if the venue Wi-Fi is weak and we will plan around it.

Every rental uses Pikcha, the AI photo booth built in India by Bamigos. It is the same machine malls and family entertainment centres buy for permanent installations, including the booth running at Hamleys.
- 200+ AI generations. Guests pick a look on the touchscreen: royal portraits, Bollywood posters, K-Pop and K-Drama styles, festive themes, or looks built for your event.
- Studio-style photos, not filters. The booth relights the face and rebuilds the background, so the print looks like it came out of a studio rather than a phone app.
- Instant prints. 4×6 photos or 2×6 strips from a dye-sublimation printer. The prints do not smudge and hold up in a wedding album.
- Non-AI options too. Some families want classic photos with a nice frame for the elders and AI looks for the cousins. The booth does both.
- A small footprint. About 6.3 sq ft of floor space (3.29 ft by 1.92 ft, 6.71 ft tall) and a standard power point. It fits beside a stage, in a foyer or in a corner of a banquet hall.

Rent or buy a photo booth?
Many people reading a rental price guide are quietly asking a second question: should I just buy one? The answer depends on how often the booth will be used.
Renting makes sense when
- You need a booth for one wedding, one party or one campaign.
- You host a handful of events a year and do not want to store or maintain equipment.
- You want to see how guests react before committing to a purchase.
Buying makes sense when
- You run a mall, gaming zone, café, hotel or FEC where a booth can earn every day from paid sessions.
- You are an event company or wedding planner who would otherwise rent for ten or more events a year.

Pikcha is sold in three tiers: Lite at ₹3.5 lakh, Studio at ₹4.5 lakh and Pro at ₹6.5 lakh, all plus GST. Studio and Pro carry a one-year warranty, Lite carries six months, and after the warranty an annual maintenance contract at 9.5% of the base price keeps the booth serviced. How to book a photo booth rental
- Send your brief. Use the rental enquiry form or WhatsApp us with your city, venue, dates, hours and rough guest count.
- Get a written quote. We confirm the package, event days, travel if any, staffing and taxes in writing.
- Lock the date. Your booking is confirmed once the quote is accepted and the advance is paid.
- Approve the frame and any custom looks. We share the print frame design and any custom effects for sign-off before the event.
- Event day. The booth is set up and tested before guests arrive, and packed away after the last print.
When to book
The Indian wedding season, roughly October to February, is when dates go first. Book two to four weeks ahead in season, and three to four weeks ahead if you want custom AI looks or branded screens, because design and approval take time. Short-notice bookings are possible when a booth is free, so it is worth asking even if your event is next week.
