This notice explains what personal data Bamigos VR LLP collects through Bamigos.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how you can reach us about it. It is written for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the rules made under it.
1. Who we are
Bamigos VR LLP ("Bamigos", "we", "us") runs Bamigos.com and decides how the data described here is used, so we are the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act.
Bamigos VR LLP, B-223 (Basement) Krishan Market Road, New Delhi, Delhi 110024, India. Email: vk@bamigos.com
2. What we collect
Details you give us
When you fill in an enquiry, rental, reseller, venue, contact or job form, or message us on WhatsApp, we collect what you enter: usually your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, city, company, venue type, event date, timeline and your message. Job applications also include your CV and the details in it.
How you use the site
We record which pages you open, how long you actively spend on each page, how far you scroll, the dates of your visits, whether you tapped a WhatsApp button, the website or ad that sent you (referrer, campaign tags and ad click IDs) and your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop). This is stored against a random ID kept in your browser, in local storage and in a first-party cookie called bm_vid. The ID does not contain your name or number. We do not record what you type into forms before you submit them.
Approximate location
We look up your approximate city from your IP address at the start of a visit and when you send an enquiry. The IP address is not saved with your visit history. Our web servers keep short technical logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics and advertising tools
We use Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings, with form fields masked), Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand which pages and ads are useful. These tools get the random browser ID and usage data, never your name or phone number. When you submit an enquiry we may share a scrambled (hashed) copy of your name, phone and email with Meta, and the ad click ID with Google Ads, only to measure which ads brought the enquiry.
3. Linking your visits to your enquiry
Before you contact us, your visit history is tied only to the random browser ID. When you submit an enquiry form, we link that browser's visit history (earlier visits and later ones) to your enquiry, as the notice under our forms says. If you contact us again from another device with the same phone number, that device's visits are linked too. Our sales team then sees, for example, that you came back and spent a few minutes on the pricing page, so the right person can call you with the right information.
You can ask us to stop this and delete the linked history at any time (see section 7). You can also clear this site's cookies and storage in your browser, which removes the ID from that device.
4. Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and send quotes, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To follow up on an enquiry you made, including when you come back to the site.
- To understand what you are interested in, so the right person contacts you.
- To deliver, install and service machines you buy or rent from us.
- To improve the site and measure which pages and ads work.
- To keep the site secure and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We rely on your consent, given when you submit a form after reading the notice under it, and on the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows for data you give us for a stated purpose. We do not sell your data.
5. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who process it for us:
- our own customer database and sales CRM, hosted on our servers;
- WhatsApp (Meta), to message you and our sales team;
- Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics and Google Ads, and Meta ad measurement;
- IPinfo, for the approximate-city lookup;
- our hosting and network providers (Hostinger and Cloudflare);
- courier, installation and payment partners, only when you order from us.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it. Some of these providers process data outside India, which the DPDP Act allows except for countries the Government restricts.
6. YouTube
We use YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on our own YouTube channel. We do not use them to collect any data about visitors to this website or users of our products. When you watch our videos on YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply. Our uploader keeps only a sign-in token for our own channel, stored on our office computer. Anyone can remove an app's access to their Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete any information, write to us at vk@bamigos.com.
7. How long we keep it
- Visits with almost no activity, not linked to an enquiry: 7 days.
- Visit history not linked to an enquiry: 90 days after the last visit.
- Visit history linked to an enquiry: 24 months after your last visit or our last update to the enquiry, whichever is later.
- Enquiry details: while the enquiry or our business with you is active, then deleted once we no longer need them for that purpose, or sooner if you ask.
- Invoices, contracts and payment records: as long as Indian tax and company law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with;
- correct, complete or update your data;
- erase your data, including your linked visit history;
- withdraw your consent, which is as easy as giving it: one email or WhatsApp message is enough;
- name another person to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to;
- resolve a complaint through our Grievance Officer.
Write to vk@bamigos.com from the email or phone number you gave us, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before, but we will stop linking your visits and stop follow-ups that rely on it.
9. Grievance Officer

11. Security
We protect data with access controls, encrypted connections and limited staff access. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected, as the law requires.
12. Changes to this notice
When we change how we use data, we will update this page and the date at the top. For a material change to how your enquiry data is used, we will tell you before it applies to you.
