Most Fun Fridays start well and fade by the third week. The quiz gets repeated, the same five people organise everything, and half the floor stays at their desks. This guide gives you 28 office games for India, a sample four-week Fun Friday plan, and tips to keep the whole thing short, optional and easy for HR to run. It starts with one idea that makes a regular Friday feel like an event: an AI photo booth.
It is written for HR, admin and people teams who run a weekly or monthly Fun Friday. Whether your team is 15 people in one room or 150 across floors and cities, you will find games here that fit.
Make one Fun Friday special: bring in an AI photo booth
Games are fun for the people who join them. A photo booth is something everyone can enjoy, including the shy colleague who would never come on stage. That is why many HR teams keep their weekly games simple and bring in a booth for one Friday a month, as the highlight.
A Pikcha AI Photo Booth gives your team real photos and AI photos in one place, with 200+ AI effects. Pick a theme for the day and match the look to it. On a Bollywood Friday, guests can step into the Vintage Bollywood look. On a Retro Friday, the Disco Fever look suits the mood.
- Branded welcome screen. Your company logo and the theme name, such as "Bollywood Friday", appear on the first screen guests see.
- Branded print frame. Prints come in 4x6 size or as a strip, with your logo on the frame.
- A print and a WhatsApp copy for everyone. Each person takes home a print and can also get the photo on WhatsApp straight away.
- Attendant included. Our team sets up the booth and runs it, so your admin team can enjoy the day too.
- Fits anywhere. The booth needs about 6.3 sq ft of floor space and a power point, so it fits in a cafeteria corner or beside the reception.

Rental is from ₹55K/day, with unlimited prints and an attendant included. The final quote depends on your city, hours and branding. See the AI photo booth rental page for details and the corporate events page for how it fits a company event. If you are in NCR, we also cover photo booth rental in Delhi NCR.

See it running at a live event
Place the booth where people already pass, such as outside the cafeteria. Announce it once on the office chat and once at lunch, and let people come when they are free. For more ideas on briefing a booth for company events, see our corporate photo booth ideas.

A sample Fun Friday plan for one month
Here is a four-week plan with one theme per Friday. Each Friday runs 45 to 60 minutes, from 4 pm to 5 pm, so work finishes on time. The photo booth sits on the last Friday as the monthly highlight, and the other Fridays need only paper, pens and a speaker.

Friday 1: Retro Friday
Ask people to wear something from the 80s, 90s or Y2K. Play old songs through the day and run Antakshari and Guess the song. Prizes can be small, such as a bar of chocolate.
Friday 2: Cricket Friday
Wear a team jersey or blue. Run the rapid-fire cricket quiz, balloon relay and an indoor "cricket" with paper balls and a dustbin. Keep it light so people who do not follow the sport still enjoy it.
Friday 3: Mystery Friday
Run the office treasure hunt with a detective story, and add emoji film guess for the break. This works well for mixed teams, since nobody needs any special skill.
Friday 4: Bollywood Friday with the photo booth
Dress in your best filmi look. Run tambola, dumb charades and a lip-sync battle, and keep the booth open from lunch to the end of the day. Everyone leaves with a print. For ideas on bigger themed evenings, see our guides to annual day theme ideas and dealer meet ideas. In December, Christmas celebration ideas for office has a full run of show.

Tips to keep Fun Friday going
- Keep it optional. Never mark attendance. People who join because they want to will make the room better than people who were told to.
- Keep it short. 45 to 60 minutes is enough. Start on time and end on time.
- Keep it inclusive. Avoid games that need physical contact, loud singing or personal questions. Offer a role for everyone, such as scorer, timekeeper or host, and think about colleagues who cannot stand for long, who fast, or who are not comfortable on stage.
- Rotate the organisers. Give each team one Friday to run. It spreads the work and brings in fresh ideas.
- Mix the teams. Draw team names from a bowl so that people meet colleagues from other floors.
- Keep prizes small. Chocolates, a coffee voucher or a pass for a short break work as well as expensive gifts.
- Ask for feedback once a month. Two questions on a form are enough, and then drop whatever did not work.
Frequently asked questions
What are some good fun Friday games in office?
Antakshari, dumb charades, tambola, two truths and a lie, and a rapid-fire quiz are the easiest. They need almost no setup and work for most teams in India.
How long should a Fun Friday activity be?
Between 30 and 60 minutes is enough. Short sessions keep people coming back and do not eat into work time.
What are the best indoor games for office with a large team?
Tambola, human bingo, musical chairs and a quiz where teams hold up A, B, C or D cards work well with 30 or more people. Use a microphone if the floor is big.
How do we run Fun Friday for remote or hybrid teams?
Choose games that work from a screen, such as an online drawing game, a live quiz on phones or online tambola. Keep video optional and give people a way to join from the chat.
How often should we run Fun Friday?
Many teams run a small game every week and one bigger Friday a month. A weekly habit keeps energy up, and a monthly highlight such as a photo booth gives people something to look forward to.
How much does a photo booth cost for an office Fun Friday?
Rental is from ₹55K/day, with unlimited prints and an attendant included. The final quote depends on your city, hours and branding.
