For four days at Rendezvous 2026, the cultural festival at IIT Delhi, students lined up at Ambrane's stall for one thing: a photo booth that looked like part of the brand. We built and ran it. It was a Pikcha AI Photo Booth wrapped in Ambrane orange, with Ambrane's own screens, AI looks picked for a college crowd, and a branded frame on every print. There was a queue all four days, and more than 1,000 guests walked away with Ambrane-branded prints.
This case study covers what we customised, how long it took, what happened on the ground and what any brand planning an activation can take from it.
Ambrane at Rendezvous 2026: at a glance
- Client: Ambrane, the Indian consumer electronics brand known for power banks, chargers and audio.
- Event: Rendezvous 2026, IIT Delhi's annual cultural festival, New Delhi.
- Dates: 28 September to 1 October 2026, four days.
- Product: Pikcha AI Photo Booth by Bamigos.com, rented with an attendant from our team.
- Customised: the booth wrap, every screen on the booth, the AI looks and the print frame.
- Booking to opening day: 19 days.
- Result: a queue at the booth throughout all four days; more than 1,000 guests left with branded prints.

What did Ambrane need from the photo booth?
Ambrane's stall was built as a "Power Station": orange walls, checkered racing flags, charging lockers and a pit-stop feel. A standard white photo booth in the corner would have looked rented. The booth had to look like it belonged to the stall, give students a reason to stop, and send them home with something that carried the Ambrane name.
That gave us four jobs: make the booth look like Ambrane, make the screens speak like Ambrane, choose looks that a festival crowd would queue for, and put the brand on every print without spoiling the photo.
What we customised
1. The booth: a full Ambrane wrap
We wrapped the whole Pikcha booth in printed vinyl in Ambrane orange, added a lit "Photo Booth" sign with checkered flags on top, and matched the oval mirror ring and edge lighting to the stall. We drew the wrap on the booth's exact dimensions, panel by panel, so it fitted around the screen, the printer slot and the mirror.

2. The screens: Ambrane from start to print
Every screen a guest touched was redesigned in Ambrane's look and voice. The start screen said "This is your Power Shot". Guests then saw "Choose your look", and while the AI worked, "Creating your Power Portrait". The last screen showed a QR code to download the photo while the print came out. A guest never saw a generic screen.

3. The AI looks: chosen for a college crowd
We picked 34 AI looks with Ambrane's team for this activation, leaning towards what students share: Fisheye Y2K, Desi Pop, Neon City, Studio Noir and an Indian folk art look with mirror-work outfits and marigolds. Groups of up to three could pose together. Faces stay recognisable; the clothes, the scene and the lighting change.
4. The print: a branded frame on every photo
Every 4x6 print came out in an orange Ambrane frame, with the wordmark at the bottom and the icon at the top. The frame is the part that leaves the venue: every print goes home with Ambrane's name on it.

How long did it take?
Ambrane booked on 9 September and the booth opened on 28 September, 19 days later. In that time we chose the looks with Ambrane's team, designed and printed the wrap, rebuilt the screens and the print frame, and tested the full guest journey on the booth before it left for IIT Delhi.
Nineteen days was enough because the booth, the software and the AI looks already existed. Only the brand layer was new. A booth built from scratch would take far longer.
Four days at Rendezvous
An attendant from our team ran the booth every day, from setup in the morning to the last print at night: helping groups pose and keeping the line moving. There was a queue at the booth throughout all four days.

What brands can take from this
If you are planning a photo booth at a college fest, a launch or an expo, these are the things that made the difference here:
- Brand the whole booth, not just the print. A wrapped booth reads as part of your stall. A plain one reads as hired equipment.
- Write the screens in your voice. "Your Power Shot" did more for Ambrane than a logo in the corner would have.
- Choose looks for the crowd, not for the brief. Students queued for Y2K, Desi Pop and folk art. A corporate audience might choose differently.
- Keep the frame simple. One logo, one colour, lots of photo. People keep prints they like, and they do not keep prints that look like flyers.
- Give every guest a digital copy. The QR download means the photo reaches phones and social feeds, not just wallets.
- Plan the power. Ask the venue for an earthed power point near the booth, and check it before switching on. At IIT Delhi we had the earthing checked with the venue's team.
- Book three weeks out if you can. We did this one in 19 days. More time means more looks to choose from and less pressure on printing.
What does a branded photo booth cost?
A Pikcha rental is ₹55,000 for a day of up to 10 hours, with unlimited prints and an attendant from our team. Travel outside Delhi NCR is quoted per city. A custom wrap, custom screens and custom AI looks are quoted with your event, depending on how much you want changed. Send your brief through the event quote form and we will reply with a written quote.

Frequently asked questions
Can a photo booth be fully branded for an activation?
Yes. A Pikcha booth can carry your brand on the booth wrap, on every screen a guest sees, in the AI looks and on the print frame. For Ambrane at IIT Delhi we changed all four, so guests saw Ambrane from the first tap to the printed photo.
How long does it take to prepare a branded photo booth?
Ambrane's booth opened 19 days after booking, with a full wrap, new screens, chosen looks and a branded frame. Three weeks is comfortable for that level of branding. A branded print frame alone needs much less time.
How much does a branded photo booth cost for a brand activation?
The rental is ₹55,000 for a day of up to 10 hours, with unlimited prints and an attendant from our team. Travel outside Delhi NCR is quoted per city. Custom wraps, screens and AI looks are quoted with your event.
Do guests get a print and a digital copy?
Yes. Each guest gets a 4x6 print or a photo strip in your frame, and can download the same photo by QR code or receive it on WhatsApp.
Can the booth run at a college fest all day?
Yes. At Rendezvous 2026 the booth ran for four full festival days with a queue throughout. An attendant from our team stays with the booth for the whole day.
